The Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary is perched on the banks of Loch Creran providing the ideal location for a day out.
The Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary in Oban has unveiled 'The Loch Creran Experience', a touch-pool feature housing many of the amazing creatures found around the margins of the adjacent loch.
Come and see the Sanctuary's resident common seals and visit the seal rescue facility to see all the hard work of the staff. Rescued seals are nurtured to full health and ultimately, if possible, released back into the wild.
The playful North American otters Fingal and Sula will keep you amused as they wreak havoc in Otter Creek.
The diverse aquarium displays and its breathtaking setting are more reasons why a visit to this unique attraction is a must for anyone in the vicinity.
Seal Encounters was launched last year, another great opportunity to learn about the respite and rehabilitation of these incredible creatures. There will be stories to tell about each and every seal that comes into the sanctuary. Old favourites, the North American otters, Fingal and Sula, make the banks of Loch Creran such a special place to visit.
We are also offering woodland walks if you have had your fill of marine life, then you can return to relax in our wonderful themed restaurant! There is something for everyone!
