The National SEA LIFE Centre takes visitors on a spectacular undersea voyage right in the heart of Britain's most landlocked city! The only inland SEA LIFE Centre, it boasts more than 55 displays of freshwater and marine life, plus the world's first fully transparent tubular walkthrough tunne where you can walk suspended in mid-ocean surrounded by sharks, skate and other amazing creatures.
Birmingham SEA LIFE Centre is a wonderland for visitors of all ages. The Centre has just launched a brand new feature 'AmaZonia', housing piranhas, poison dart frogs and many more exotic creatures.
All of this is in addition to Birmingham SEA LIFE Centre's dramatic centrepiece: the tropical ocean tank, the stars of which are undoubtedly green sea turtles Gulliver and Molokai. Plus of course, dozens of other spectacular displays featuring octopus, crabs and lobsters, sharks, stingray and lots, lots more.
A new feature Amazon Attack will turn the spotlight on the more dangerous creatures of the Amazon river and surrounding rainforest, everything from piranhas and frogs to sabre toothed tetras and terrifying tarantulas.
A favourite feature with many visitors to Birmingham SEA LIFE Centre is the Seahorse Breeding & Conservation Centre, home to a variety of these exotic and colourful creatures; from native spiny seahorses to Australian big-bellies. These and countless other delights guarantee a memorable experience for every visitor to the SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham.
The amazing 360 degree acrylic tunnel takes you through a fantastic journey, full of marine life, Sharks, Sea turtles and luminous tropical fish! Our Asian short clawed otters are also making their first appearance. There are many feeding demonstrations, including the graceful Rays, these will be happening throughout the day!
The National SEA LIFE Centre at Birmingham invites you all to take part in the legendary Lost City of Atlantis. A magical mirror maze awaits all the bravest visitors, you never know what will be lurking in the shadows!
