The Great Yarmouth SEA LIFE Centre is the ideal day out for all the family, whatever the weather. Explore this fascinating underwater world where you'll find yourself coming face to face with mysterious creatures of the deep, both native and tropical.
With over forty breath-taking displays and over 70 marine species, there is plenty to do and learn about at the Great Yarmouth SEA LIFE Centre. The Ocean Display is a huge tank full of exotic creatures from all over the world. Two green sea turtles are a star attraction and coexist quite happily with the sharks and other brightly coloured tropical fish in the tank.
An added extra to this fantastic show is the underwater tunnel which allows you into the very depths of the display. Here, the huge turtles drift silently past and the various sharks are only a few inches away, the tiny fish dart around the sunken shipwreck and you are submerged in a magical wonderland.
Other displays include the Kingdom of the Seahorse, the Lost City of Atlantis, Amazonia World of Reptiles and Jellyfish - Phantoms of the Deep. One exciting exhibit features a tank full of venomous fish such as puffer fish and electric eels that are seriously dangerous to their prey with little more than a touch. With the vast range of displays, you can meet everything from octopuses to eels and snakes to sharks.
The SEA LIFE Centre Great Yarmouth brings you closer than you ever imagined to a spectacular world of underwater life. And if that's not close enough, you are welcomed to the touch pools where you can handle a number of different crustacean species to your hearts content.
They also offer regular talks and displays that will give you an even greater insight into the hidden world of the seas.
