Birmingham SEA LIFE Centre
Perched on the canal bank opposite the National Indoor Arena, this is a gem of a Sea Life Centre spread over three floors of a striking modern building designed by Sir Norman Foster. Visitors climb gently past an array of amazing display tanks teeming with freshwater and marine creatures of all shapes and sizes…from sticklebacks to seahorses, starfish to giant sea turtles. Located on the famous Golden Mile this attraction is a jewel in the crown of Britain’s busiest resort, housing around 50 displays of all shapes and sizes including a vast ocean tank with one of the biggest collections of tropical sharks in Europe.
